Yes! We have special rooms and yards specifically for our vaccine-exempt guests. Documentation must be provided by a licensed veterinarian stating that your pet is vaccine-exempt.

Yes! As long as your puppy or kitten has received their full DHPP or FVRCP series (last round given at least 7 days before the first day of stay), is Rabies vaccinated, has had a negative fecal result in the last 6 months, and is on parasite prevention.

Yes! Our staff is trained to handle animals in a fear-free manner. We have special quiet rooms available just for our anxious guests and recommend a pre-stay consultation with an on-site doctor to discuss possible medication options.

We highly recommend bringing food from home. Abruptly changing a pet's diet can cause an upset stomach.

Please be sure to be specific at check-in regarding your pet's feeding amounts and schedule.

Yes! Your pet is more than welcome to bring their luggage with them for their stay. Although we take care to keep everyone's luggage labeled and separated, bringing these items is at the owner's discretion. We are not held responsible for lost luggage. Complimentary laundry service is provided.

If your pet is showing signs of illness, a staff member will reach out to you about scheduling an exam with one of our on-site doctors.

If a staff member is unable to reach the owner, then they will reach out to your emergency contact(s). If a staff member is unable to reach the owner or any emergency contacts within a reasonable time frame, then necessary medical attention will be provided at the owner's cost.

Pet guests are routinely monitored daily between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm. Our veterinarians' schedules differ throughout the week, but are on-site Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am-1:00 pm. A veterinarian is on-call outside of the hospital's normal working hours to assist should a pet become ill or hurt.

All medical expenses accrued are at the cost of the owner. If a pet requires emergency intervention that Bradford Hills is not equipped or staffed to perform, or if the pet should require 24-hour monitoring, the owner or an emergency contact will be asked to transport the pet to a nearby emergency or 24-hour facility. Bradford Hills staff members are not permitted to transport animals for any reason. Please be sure to list emergency contacts on your check-in forms should an emergency occur.

Yes! However, a pre-boarding exam by our staff veterinarians is required for all non-veterinary patients to ensure our veterinary team is up-to-date on your pet's medical history in the case of an emergency.

Yes! Our staff is trained to administer a wide range of medications. Please note that we do charge additional fees for medication and supplement administration.

We cannot accept any medications or supplements that are outside of their original labeled containers. Prescription drugs must be in their original labeled containers showing the drug name, pet name, dosage, and prescribing veterinarian. Please do not bring medications or supplements in baggies or other containers; these will not be accepted. Please be as specific as possible when filling out the check-in form regarding medication dosage and times to help ensure your pet receives all medications as required.
